Advancing Clinical Excellence in Nursing Care
At HerPath Edu, our Nursing Education Programs are designed to strengthen clinical expertise, enhance trauma-informed practice, and support the emotional well-being of nursing professionals.
We recognize that modern maternity care requires both technical skill and compassionate awareness. Our courses combine research-based knowledge with practical application to ensure meaningful impact in real-world clinical settings.
Vaginal Birth Optimization 8 CE
The Vaginal Birth Optimization course is designed to support safe, efficient, and evidence-based approaches that promote physiologic birth. Through hands-on application, this program explores the natural physiology of birth while addressing common barriers that may arise throughout the process to strengthen clinical confidence and decision-making. Participants will gain practical knowledge in labor positioning, movement strategies, pelvic dynamics, and nonpharmacological comfort measures that enhance labor progress and maternal comfort. Grounded in trauma-informed care and cultural sensitivity, this program also supports the recognition of implicit bias and healthcare disparities. Whether you are a birth professional or work in a related field, this course enhances practical skills while promoting confident, compassionate, and individualized birth support to aid in improving maternal and neonatal outcomes.
Movement Series 4 CE
The Labor Movement Series program is an immersive, hands-on training designed to equip birthing professionals with practical techniques that support physiologic labor and optimal birth progression. This interactive series moves beyond theory, focusing on real-time application of movement-based strategies that enhance pelvic mobility, fetal positioning, and labor efficiency. Participants will learn and practice purposeful positioning, dynamic movement patterns, manual techniques, and partner-assisted strategies that encourage effective contractions and support the natural biomechanics of birth. Emphasis is placed on understanding how the pelvis moves in labor, recognizing signs of stalled progress, and applying targeted techniques to address common challenges. Through guided demonstration and supervised practice, attendees will build confidence in implementing movement interventions that promote comfort, reduce unnecessary interventions, and optimize maternal and neonatal outcomes.
Ideal for doulas, nurses, midwives, childbirth educators, and other birth workers, this series strengthens clinical skill, critical thinking, and patient-centered support, empowering professionals to facilitate safe, efficient, and physiologic birth.
Understanding the Birthing Pelvis 4 CE
Trauma in Nursing 2 CE
This course explores the emotional and psychological impact of repeated trauma exposure in healthcare settings. Nurses will learn to recognize signs of secondary trauma, build healthy coping strategies, and develop resilience while maintaining compassionate, high-quality patient care in high-stress clinical environments.
Nurse Burnout Course 2 CE
Trauma-Informed Care 2 CE
Our Trauma-Informed Care program equips healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills to recognize, understand, and respond to the effects of trauma in maternity settings. This training promotes emotional safety, respectful communication, and patient-centered support, helping create birth environments that reduce re-traumatization and strengthen trust between providers and families.
Grief in Nursing 2 CE
The Grief in Nursing course highlights how nurses frequently encounter grief stemming from patient death, cumulative loss, moral distress, and the ongoing emotional demands of this work. In this course, we work through how grief uniquely impacts nurses, both psychologically and professionally. Participants will explore the effects of unresolved grief, learn practical strategies for healthy processing, and strengthen skills for peer support within the clinical setting. While emphasizing early recognition, ethical responsibility, and an approach fostering grief-informed nursing practice.
Trauma Bonding 2 CE
Building a supportive community where nurses feel heard, valued, and equipped with the resources they need to navigate the challenges of this profession. Nursing is a true labor of love, but when nurses neglect their own well-being, it becomes incredibly difficult to care for others. I believe in empowering nurses to prioritize their inner health so they can consistently deliver exceptional care to every patient, every time.
Not in maternal child specialty, our courses in grief, trauma bonding, nurse burnout, and trauma in nursingcare are very prevalent across every specialty of nursing. The skills and insights you’ll gain are relevant to any setting where compassionate, sustainable care is essential.
